Natalie is such a funny and smart little girl, our conversations keep me on my toes and giggling all day. Here are a few examples...
Natalie: "Mom, where's my panda bear?"
Me: "In your room, in the corner, by your chair."
N: "Wow, that's a pacific answer!"
M: "You mean 'specific'?"
N: "No, silly, that's an ocean!"
And then today I bought her a set of finger puppets. While playing with them I heard...
N: "Zazzholes you put your fingers in."
M: "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!"
N: "There's holes you put your fingers in."
M: "Oh, okay."
A few moments pass and then...
N: "Don't worry, Mom, I didn't say 'assholes'."

Bear hunt
I completely forgot to post about this! Natalie's school organized a bear hunt for all the kiddos a few weeks ago. They made spy glasses, bear masks, ate honey combs and berries, and searched for bears all over campus. Too cute.

Zoo!
Natalie has had a rough few days so I decided a little fresh air, sunshine, and fun would do us good. Poor Nick was confined to his stroller the whole time, I tried letting him out but he acted worse than the animals!

Pick n pig
We finally make it to one of the most famous BBQ restaurants in America. This little BBQ shack is situated on a runway and pilots across America fly in for some hushpuppies and pulled pork. Although it was good it could hardly stand up to my granddad's BBQ, I guess I've been spoiled by him and his amazing BBQ skills (the man owns his own pig cooker!). They did have amazing fried pickles, though!
